New Toys!

We acquired a few new toys over the last month. Mac got his beloved 1971 Baja Beetle and I got my Nikon D3000 camera!

Since his boyhood, Mac has always wanted a beetle. I’m not sure what it is about them but I knew it was time for him to get one when I saw his eyes light up when he talked about getting one. We looked around on KSL and finally found “the one”. Mac has been fixing it up and doing the essentials like getting new seats, tuning up the engine, etc. I love to see how hard he researches and how hard he works on that car. He is learning so much and is doing a great job on his beloved car!

I have wanted a nice camera for a VERY long time. I loved my little digital camera, but it just isn’t the same. I’ve decided I want to take some photography classes and hopefully start a little side photography business and this is the first step! I had so much fun taking pictures in St. George and can’t wait to take many, many more! Thanks for buying me my camera Mac!! You are the best!
